Home: Welcome

My name is Breanna Fajardo. Welcome to my online portfolio! I've had a passion for design since I received my first 2006 white MacBook. 


In the early 2000's, I was in middle school. During my free time and now, I continue to learn Adobe Photoshop through Youtube tutorials or blogs. Back when Myspace was popular, I had a separate account dedicated to Myspace background patterns that I created with Photoshop.


During that time, I would carry around my Canon digital camera. I self taught myself video editing softwares and would create video compilations with background music.  In today's world, the Internet calls it V-logging.

I graduated from the Fashion Industry of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco in 2016. With an associate degree in Visual Communications, I wanted to pursue a career in visual design, with my professional experience of customer and technical support.

Throughout this portfolio, you will find pieces that I have designed for professional clients and personal growth.

REAL ESTATE POSTCARDS

Client: The Fajardo Team, Fohl Realty

Jeff and Anna Fajardo of Fohl Realty, were looking to design postal cards to mail out to nearby neighborhoods in the Bay Area of California. Each post card design was  created in Canva. They were created in three different sizes: 11.5 x 8, 10.5 x 8, and 10 x 8 (inches)1


Each design was tailored to the company’s colors: Dark Grey (#222222) and Gold (#86774F).


Aiming for a modern design, they wanted to continue using their preferred font, Bebas Neue. To make the information easy to read, the description text was Code Pro.

2022 YEAR CALENDAR

Client: The Fajardo Team, Fohl Realty

Jeff and Anna Fajardo, of Fohl Realty, wanted to create a 2022 year calendar. 


The calendar was created in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe In-Design. The print size was 10 inches x 8 inches. 


We kept their company colors, Dark Grey (#222222) and Gold (#86774F).


For a traditional look, Myriad Pro was used as the font choice.

INSTAGRAM

Food/Blog - @eatwbre_

I love food. I love how it tastes, how it makes me feel, and how it looks when I photograph it.


Also, I love sharing my experiences with others. That's why I started a personal Instagram page, focusing on different restaurants I have tried, snack ratings, and recipes of dishes I have cooked on my own. This page is to share the foods that make me happy with people who might not be able to experience them for themselves.


Creating an Instagram, dedicated to food and cooking has been a passion project of mine and it is what got me interested in pursuing a career in Social Media/Digital marketing.

Along with my food Instagram, I've created a food blog with the use of Wix. The purpose of the blog is to be able to get further into depth about my experiences of trying new restaurants.


I use Wix Analytics to see what posts are performing the best. Also, Iuse SEO (search engine optimization) techniques to make sure my content is optimized for search engines like Google.

TIKTOK VIDEO CREATION

During my free time, I enjoy searching for different restaurants I have not tried. I focus more on quick bites, small businesses, and casual-dining eateries.

In 2021, I created a TikTok page to share my experiences and recommended dishes.

​

I've been able to grow my following to 250+ followers, from scratch, with video views of 500-2,000K+. The TikTok algorithm always changes. It's important to view the TikTok analytics of each video, to make sure it is reaching the proper target audience.

PRODUCT MOCK UPS

During the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I self-taught myself how to create product mock ups to set up an Etsy Shop. I wanted to sell a product that I know I am passionate about offering and making myself.

​

With my education in marketing and certifications in Google's Digital Marketing, I used that knowledge to build a customer base, search engine optimization (SEO), and create designs that I am proud of.


My ideas come from Pinterest, designs made on Canva, put into product mock up Adobe Photoshop files.
